The New Office
January 15th, 2010Leigh Davis did a great shot of Jay’s building for an article in New York Times Magazine, and I thought I’d try and emulate it. They’ve built a new building right next door since she did the shot, on the right of the frame.
I’m incredibly lucky, because the whole first floor of that building is my office, which is probably bigger than most executives here. I don’t get paid as much as one of them, but I also have probably the best boss anyone could ask for, so it works out.
Also in this post are just a couple photographs from around the city. Trying to flex the ol’ eyeball muscles at least a little bit every day.
These are prints I made for Jay last week. After I shot this, I printed about 50 more.
Dude, these are great! Love hearing about your new job too. I might be in NYC sometime in March seeing some friends. I’ll definitely holla @ you!
